What vehicles can be converted?
Most petrol engine vehicles can be converted to run on LPG – a list of vehicles which have been checked and approved as suitable and safe to run on LPG can be found at www.lpga.co.uk.
Where can I get LPG?
Currently there are over 1,500 LPG refuelling points across the UK.
How much does it cost to convert to LPG?
Conversion costs between £1,800 and £2,600 depending on the age and type of the vehicle, and takes around three to four days.
What if I run out of LPG and there is no refuelling point nearby?
Your car will be converted to run as a dual-fuel (LPG/petrol) vehicle. It’s original petrol tank will remain intact, therefore you can switch to ordinary fuel until you can refill.
Will performance be affected?
A conversion generally will not have an effect on the performance of your vehicle. Manufacturers servicing intervals would also remain as intended.
